Can't get enough of this beautiful design. I don't even need or want a notes app, but this design got me hooked. Love the intentionality and beauty of each screen and experience. Well done my friend.

Offline editing and syncing is the reason that this is going to probably replace Gdocs for me, at least on mobile. Great example of continued, thoughtful and gimmick-free product development. Keep up the good work!

Love the design which has always been good but you guys have take it to next level. Congratulation on that. Gimmicky page of A "special offer to try unlimited indefinitely for free" is total unnecessary, misleading and feels like cheating to get people on board.

Hi @madavvero, great question! Roam Research is an Outliner system, based on collapsible bullets, rather than being based on a system of modular notecards. Both paradigms have their strengths, but Supernotes really comes into it's own on mobile. Our short-form format is perfect to quickly jot down ideas while you are on the go. You can then edit them when you get home on your laptop, share them with your friends, family and colleagues and collaborate on them in real time. This piecemeal approach to knowledge management, is almost like connecting your ideas together like legos. Try Supernotes for a week and see if it sticks :)

Looks cool, 🤷🏻‍♀️ but I am always stopped by one crucial thing with any notes app... or really any app that i'm going to use to catalogue my entire life with and thats the fact that its closed source. When your company goes away or is sold i'll be left deeply intertwined with a product soon to be defunct. The only way I could ever make the commitment and investment into a product like this is if I knew I could host a version myself on my home server.

Hi @puppycodes, great point. That's one of the reasons we've built a sustainable company over the past five years, so we can be as persistent as your knowledge. We've also have a simple one-click export all your cards on Supernotes as a zip of Markdown files, compatible with any other text editor 📝

@twhetton Thanks for considering! Even exporting to a text editor would be a loss that feels insurmountable. In my experience once folks get a way of working its totally world ending to shift to a different app or process. appreciate the response <3
