Congrats. Like the solution. Is there a self hosting option available? How do you compare against PostHog?

@wilsonbright Thanks Wilson, no self hosting for now - on the roadmap but we're only a two person team and had to choose between focusing on hosted or self hosted to begin with and opted for hosted...especially as there are already great options in the self-hosted/on-prem space like Posthog! Posthog is pretty similar but they use cookies and have less privacy controls generally (so you capture less visits and it's harder to stay complaint). They are currently doing a lot on the events-based stuff e.g. funnels, that we won't roll that out for another few weeks! We're already events-driven it's just not a focus of how we've surfaced data up until now 😊

@mattcrail Thanks Matt! In your account settings you can turn on a feature flag to access User Journeys, which is a new feature where you can put in a start or end page in your site and see how traffic flowed too or from that page - that will exit beta in a week or two. After that there's 2 big things coming: 1. The ability to define custom events and build conversion funnels and 2. Single-page analytics, rather than site-wide. Both of those we'll aim to roll out in June! We also have a top-secret privacy feature, I can demo that to you some time if you like :)

Squeaky is so much more than a basic dashboard 😊 I mean sure, there is a basic dashboard, but there’s also session recordings, heatmaps, customer feedback tools, and much more in the pipeline. As you might expect, we’re cookie-free and don’t use IP tracking, but because we help you mask any sensitive data client-side then you can even capture session recordings without ever having to risk capturing personal data from your users. 🤔 Why have we built it? Legacy analytics tools leave companies with a choice between missing important data, breaking the law, or using no tooling at all.
