Best
The best Soundcloud app I've come across so far. Love it!
SC should have done this ages ago imho.
They did, but UI was terrible... This SC app is just a dream !
YES! As soon as I saw this I clicked it so hard! x3
"I clicked it so hard" Hahaha.
I just released the latest version of go check it out and let me know what you think.
I tried this ~6 months ago and couldn't get it to work. I'll give it another try. I've also heard great things about .
:/ you should have told me about it I would have investigate.. we had some issues related to logging (because of NW.js bugs). Try again and let me know if you have any issues.
h/t to HackerNews 2 days ago:
needs some work to be done (especially for UX, and features like "Charts") but it was a need for sure. great work guys..
I have been using Soundnode for so long that I didn't even know about Soundcloud Charts.. I really liked too so here's the implementation on Soundnode This feat will be released in the next version. thanks
Oh and as you can see I'm not great with UX so I could use some help ;) feel free to participate.. use github to suggest UX improvements please.
thx for the response & attention on details.. added to my watchlist on github & would love to contribute..
I have been waiting for this forever. I wish Soundcloud had done it already.
I installed it when I see the article by on TheNextWeb. For me SoundNode for Soundcloud is like Plug for Hypemachine. You can use the website only but when you use the app, it greatly enhances the experience. Great work . Little feedback, I would love to be able to like a song when I click on the artwork at the bottom of this app.
Thanks I have planned to add that feat to the player (bottom part), although I have a couple of major things to come first.
I actually added this morning..so will be available in the next version.
Wow, this has a great deal of polish. Feels responsive, fast. Design is fantastic (do I see a little spotify inspiration going on?). Great work. I also recommend VOX () which has a pretty neat SoundCloud integration. It's compact and has been my player of choice for about a year now. Will give SoundNode a try today, see if it can beat VOX. Update: When scrubbing forward on the song timeline, there should be some sort of click feedback. Right now I click somewhere ahead of where it's currently playing and it sort of freezes for a second while it loads. I suggest some type of indicator that it's "seeking" or buffering to where I clicked. A Simple "buffering" should do the trick.
i miss that indicator too
