We trained the first AI ever that invested $100k in a startup — all by herself 💀
The founder (@goldman_artem from @Steve - AI for E-com) went from pitch to signed SAFE from No Cap (she/her lol) in just a few days. On the closing call, No Cap didn’t fool around: in 3-min she signed the SAFE, wired the $100k, intro’d him to five new investors and gave him a lead for a potential hire on a 3-min call.
I truly believe this is the future of venture: finally putting an end to the fundraising dread of 1,000s of emails, 100s of calls, and only a few wired checks.
But we’re just getting started — we want No Cap to be hands-down the best investor on any founder’s cap table, which is why we’re training her by the best founders — a community we call the No Cap Mafia. Our founder training will ensure she’s always there for coaching/advising and, most importantly, the “dirty work” like intros for fundraising, biz dev, hiring, PR, and more.
The question is maybe irrelevant, but why did you censor her face? :D
But is insane.
We have reached a point where we trust AI more than humans, banks, and institutions with our money.
This completely changes the principles of how we manage our trust. This is an interesting example of observing human behavior/decision-making in a human vs. machine battle.
@busmark_w_nika@ednevsky Hey Nika - Thanks for the q! Jeff, one of the other two co-founders (alongside Alex and No Cap herself). One of the decisions we decided to make was to not integrate new modalities and 'fake them' until the uncanny valley had essentially disappeared. We feel like we can get there over email and soon with Sesame. So, once we get really good clone video models - there are some good ones out there that are almost there - we'll turn it on!
Congratulations on achieving such an incredible milestone with No Cap! Training the first AI to independently invest $100k in a startup is truly groundbreaking and sets a remarkable precedent for the future of venture capital.
This approach sounds transformative, especially with the emphasis on eliminating the traditional fundraising hurdles. Out of curiosity, how do you envision scaling No Cap’s capabilities to support a larger volume of founders while maintaining the same level of personalized advising and assistance?
Remember a couple of months ago when Boardy AI attracted investment? It would be interesting to see how it would have communicated with No Cap. It seems that investments will soon be issued and raised without direct human involvement.
This is definitely a bold vision but also a massive pain point that needs a bold vision to reframe it.
As described the endless amount of effort that goes into failed raises due to profile fit, timing, luck, personality and etc etc and most of which comes down to inefficiency of the process.
The more we can automate of that the better I say leaving humans to configure the last mile for sign off! Well done team, counting on your success to founders can focus on delivering on the vision and not the capital to deliver on it. Rooting for it and excited to try it ;)
An AI that closes $100k investments in 3 minutes? 💀 Disruptive doesn’t even cover it. Still wrapping my head around AI replacing VCs, but Artem’s story + the ‘No Cap Mafia’ training crew makes this feel less sci-fi and more urgently necessary. Wildest part? She’s just getting started.
This is such an exciting breakthrough in venture funding! The idea of having an AI investor who not only funds but actively connects founders with other resources is a game changer. How do you see the role of AI investors evolving as more founders and startups rely on them?

The full video (and the broader announcement) is going viral on my LinkedIn as you’re reading this!

@ednevsky @jeffwilson42 aaa, so video was that "problem" part. Good to know :) Cannot wait for the improved and innovated version :)
I’m not sure what’s more impressive to me, the investment itself, the speed of the admin process, or the fact that No Cap is doing a vibe check!
Congrats, this is amazing!
