@kaz - people always hate on change. If Facebook reverted back to its original news feed from 4 years ago, 1.28B people would throw their computers out the window.

@rrhoover but not everything FB changes has been for the better....Would you say that as of now this new Snapchat is an improvement? On the surface, it seems amazing - some truly next-level product development - but the reaction for people who use the app way more than I do seems to be the opposite.
@kaz - Facebook, Snapchat, or anyone will rarely bat 1000 but my initial impressions are very positive (expanded on the comment above just now on my blog). Snapchat Chat doesn't remove any functionality or change the way users have to engage with the product.
That said, I'm a 27 year old dude living in SF so my perspective is far different than a middle America teenager. I can only guess. :)
