If you want to make a no-code project, what are the best tools to use? Where should you start?
To help with this, I've created version 2.0 of Get Stackd. It's a recommendation app (built with no-code ๐ฅ) to find the best no-code tools to make your next project.

This looks awesome @michaeljnovotny! I use a combo of nocode products however my always-stack is @coda_hq & @zapier.
Great job on 2.0
@coda_hq@zapier@hoeycodes Thanks Joey for the stack! Can you point me to any projects that you've used with this? Happy to add it to the site and bring some awareness.
Hello Everyone๐๐ผ,
This is a massive overhaul and update to the original version of Get Stackd. An app that recommends the best no-code tools to make your project. All the recommendations are based on actual successful projects built and shipped with no-code.
๐จThe problem:
I've spent too much time figuring out what are the best tools to use to create a no-code project. And I've always found it insanely valuable to see how other makers built theirs.
One of the most popular questions I see asked and have been asked in the Maker community is, "where do I start?" And, "what no-code tools did you use to build it?"
๐ฅThe solution:
Create a way for anyone to discover the best no-code tools to use and help you make that thing you want to do.
What's different with version 2.0? It's much, much more customized with no-code stack recommendations. And since launching in August 2019, I've interviewed and discussed with dozens of insanely talented Makers in the no-code space, to understand why they chose the tools they used. All the recommendations are sourced from Makers.
Get Stackd is built off of the Making community who pays it forward. Makers helping other Makers. It's the essence of why I love what I do and made this. I hope that it helps you.
What's new:
1. Variations: 1000+ different variations of no-code stacks to use
2. Analyzed: Your idea + your skill level + complexity of what you want to build are now heavily factored in
3. Mobile App Rec's: What are the best no-code tools to use to create a native mobile app?
๐คThe part you might find most interesting is these stack recommendations are based on real data points from actual successful no-code projects.
๐๐ฝIt is my hope that this version 2.0 helps reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed when starting, and allows Makers to spend more time talking to users, marketing their product...less time building.
I hope you check it out.
Special thanks to these Makers who have helped me to this point to launch:
@5harath@noahmakes@thisiskp_@gill_works@craigjbarber@_danielmeade@HainingMax@naz_09@kurtybot
๐๐ฝOH and one last thing... The stack I used to build Get Stackd:
-Typeform
-Airtable
-Zapier
-Gmail
๐๐ผWhat is your tech stack?๐๐ผ

Awesome - I've definitely found myself in the "stack loop of hell" - jumping back and forth to find what I need, and eventually giving up :)
@derekwilliamson Hey Derek thanks for the feedback it means a lot. I hope it saves you and Makers some time. That's one of the pain points I wanted to help alleviate. I have burned a lot of time using the wrong tools to build something. Instead of trying the most popular tool, you can find the best tool for what you have to make.
I have known @michaeljnovotny since my early days as a maker and he is one of the active voices we hear on pushing no-code movement forward. He has been relentlessly providing value to makers through Side Project Stack and now with Get Stackd 2.0 ๐
"Where do I start?" I get this question a lot from people who are new to no-code and I can confidently say Get Stackd 2.0 is your answer! With a massive overhaul, the product is packed with over 1000+ combinations of no-code stacks gathered from over 700 makers ๐ฅ
If you are a beginner or figuring out what stack is better for your next big idea, get started with Get Stackd 2.0 ๐
Wonderful beginner resource. I appreciate anything that makes it easier for creators to get building and transforming their idea into something they can ship. Will be using this in the weeks ahead ๐ Thanks Michael!
@modernafflatus Hey thanks Ash for the feedback! You hit the nail on the head and it is my hope it encourages more folks to get started if they have never shipped before.
