Tired, but wired? Would you use a sleep mask that you control with your eyes?

Most sleep technology tracks your sleep. Cool, but what if you need help falling asleep in the first place?

We're building for the period when you're still awake. Think of it like an off-ramp for your busy mind.

It's a screen-free sleep mask that lets users guide spatial-audio scenes with small closed-eye movements. As the user responds less, the experience slows and fades.

The goal is not to produce another score or streak. Engagement for us is failure. Speed to disengage (fall asleep faster) is our north star.

We have a working prototype, but three product questions are still open:

  1. Does “interactive” sound helpful at bedtime, or does it immediately sound too stimulating?

  2. Would you trust a product worn over your eyes if it clearly explained that it uses non-imaging infrared sensing rather than a camera?

  3. What would you need to see before joining an early hardware beta?

I’m the founder, so my perspective may be biased. I’m specifically looking for objections and reasons you would not use it.

I like the idea. I use a heated eye mask at night and often fall asleep with it on, and I've used meditation apps to help me fall asleep so I can see the appeal of combining those things.
