Hey Product Hunt! 👋 We built Salestrics because we got tired of watching brilliant AI agents fail at simple tasks just because they lacked business context. When you ask Cursor or Claude "What's our pipeline looking like this quarter?" or "Can you update the Acme Corp deal?", they hit a wall. Today we're launching Salestrics MCP—a hosted Model Context Protocol server built directly into your revenue workspace: ⚡ 65 Native Tools: Query CRM records, read inbox threads, run workflows, and pull analytics natively. 💻 Universal Agent Support: Native setup for Cursor, Claude Desktop, VS Code, Windsurf, ChatGPT, and 6+ other AI clients. 🔌 One Connection, Every Tool: Configure once in Salestrics to unlock integrated context across Stripe, Slack, GitHub, Notion, and HubSpot. 🔒 Enterprise-Grade Security: Org-scoped API keys (smcp_live_...) with full audit logging and rate limits. Would love to hear your feedback, thoughts, or what tools you want us to add to the MCP registry next! 🚀

🚀 Overview: Massive Scale & Full App Coverage

We’ve significantly expanded the Salestrics Model Context Protocol (MCP) runtime, scaling from our initial 65-tool launch to 153 native tools across 19 categories.

External AI agents (such as Cursor, Claude Desktop, and custom runners) can now operate across our entire suite of 13 Salestrics applications—moving beyond basic analytics to execute complex, multi-app workflows spanning sales, finance, customer support, team chat, and workspace file collaboration.

You can view the real-time status and tool catalog for your workspace at any time via the new resource:

New App Surfaces

  • Ledger (Finance): Move beyond dashboard snapshots with dedicated financial execution tools—including Stripe invoicing, bank connection status, transaction search, and budget vs. actual summaries.

  • Momentum (Pipeline): Execute seven approval-gated pipeline actions directly from your agent environment: qualify/disqualify leads, advance deal stages, generate quotes, and mark opportunities as won or lost.

  • Resolve (Customer Service): Full end-to-end case management: open cases, search knowledge bases, summarize queues, escalate tickets, resolve issues, and reassign owners.

  • Connect (Chat & Meetings): Inspect channels, post messages, list/schedule meetings, manage participant rosters, and extract meeting insights.

  • Flow (Operations): Track inventory levels, view procurement orders, monitor fulfillment status, and query operational dashboards.

  • Orbit (Social): Interact with feed posts, search the people directory, view profiles, and analyze timeline activity.

  • Support: Search help articles and inspect active support ticket listings.

  • Assistant (Meta Tools): Read-only visibility into in-product Assistant sessions, memories, configurations, and usage (for org admins)—allowing external agents to understand workspace context without interfering with in-app chat.

🔁 Expanded Capabilities on Existing Apps

  • Inbox (Read + Write): Upgraded from read-only access. Now includes Mail AI (mail_thread_analyze), smart recipient suggestions, draft creation, direct email delivery, and CRM contact syncing. (Note: Sensitive email sends enforce your organization's write-approval policies).

  • Workspace (Full Collaboration): Expanded from basic drive storage to deep document collaboration.

    • Read: Documents, spreadsheet rows, presentations, and calendar events.

    • Write (Approval-Gated): Folders, file moves/sharing, document creation/updates, spreadsheet edits, and calendar event scheduling (including Connect meetings and Google Calendar sync).

  • Insight (Deeper Analytics): Added visual and scheduled reports, ask_insight, activity feeds, data transformations, analytics pipelines, and governance policies/events.

  • Automation & AI Workflows: Complete lifecycle management for standard and AI-driven workflows—including list_workflows, create_workflow_run, update, delete, pause, resume, and run history tracking.

  • Admin MCP (Org Ops): Expanded from basic keys and audit logging to full organization administration, including user management, org settings, billing usage, integration connector statuses, and broader audit logs.

🛡️ Reliability & Connector Hardening

  • Outbound Circuit Breakers: Connectors now feature automatic circuit breakers that open after repeated failures, using exponential backoff up to 5 minutes to protect system health.

  • Configurable Timeouts: Per-operation timeouts are now strictly enforced (5s for connect, 10s for tool listing), configurable via environment variables.

  • Org-Scoped Session Pooling: Outbound MCP connections are reused with a 5-minute TTL and immediate invalidation upon credential changes.

  • Runtime Health: Inspect live connector health during any session using the resource: salestrics://integrations/runtime-status

🔒 Security & Audit Enhancements

  • Hardened HTTP authentication boundaries, strict rate limits, and sanitized error responses across all endpoints.

  • Enforced CRM finance RBAC and owner validation rules on all write actions.

  • Custom MCP integration safeguards: blocked shell interpreters, restricted environment variables, and public-URL validation for HTTP connectors.

  • Closed audit gaps across Inbox and Automation, aligning org scope, actor attribution, and approval enforcement across all server execution paths.

🛠️ Developer Experience & Setup

  • Custom Integrations: Org admins can now connect custom HTTP/stdio MCP integrations via Admin → Integrations.

  • New Public Guide: Check out docs/ for a complete setup guide, supported agent environments, safety controls, and troubleshooting tips.

  • New Developer Resource: Access salestrics://assistant/guide to learn how external agents interact alongside the in-product Assistant.

  • Core Transport: Hosted endpoints at /api/mcp and /mcp-bridge remain the standard, high-performance transport layer using Streamable HTTP.

Can AI agents actually update CRM records and trigger workflows through this, or is it read-only?

Full operational execution—165 native tools with full CRUD capabilities!

Agents can update deal stages, trigger workflows, issue invoices, and manage tickets in real time (with strict human-in-the-loop approval checks for sensitive actions).

And this is where our Unified Integration Bridge shines: > Because Salestrics acts as a central proxy, your agent can update a CRM record and execute actions across your third-party stack (like Stripe, PostHog, or Sentry) through a single connection—without ever configuring local keys for each tool in Cursor or Claude.

Don't want to use the MCP? Salestrics AI has the exact same tool access natively inside the app as well!
