♾️ What’s your product logo?

When I’m scrolling through a list of products, the first thing that catches my eye is usually the logo.

Only then I look at the tagline, and after that, the description.

For us, it’s a very simple infinity sign, but it actually says almost everything we want our brand to say.

• A loop that keeps running and never gets interrupted
• Simplicity
• Our brand magenta to cyan gradient

So now I’m curious:

What’s your product logo, and what’s the story behind it?

Here is the story behind the Call an Insider logo.
The dot outside is the student, and the one inside is the insider (inside a closed circle).
Call an Insider is the bridge, allowing students to get a 15-minute call with an insider at a top company.
Not sure if users get it at first glance, but at least it makes sense to me :)

For ProdShort, we wanted to keep it simple. We combined the “P” from ProdShort with a play button, since video is at the core of what we do. Nothing too complicated 😄

I like this idea Our logo is built around a simple infinity symbol too, representing continuous growth and iteration Its interesting how much a simple logo can say about a product

This is my logo for , a search engine for mobile apps. I tried different things related to the functionality, like something including a magnifying glass or database symbol, but I couldn't come up with something nice.

So I decided for something more abstract. The idea of this star / flower is to represent something beautiful that one is searching for. And since it's apps, I've used the "code green" color.

Fun thread! Here are two of mine.

Pinateca is a project management tool built on boards. The name comes from pinacotheca, an old word for a picture gallery, from pinax (board) and theke (a place to keep things). I almost dropped it because I thought English speakers would read it as piñata lol, but once I typed it into a search box letter by letter, piñata was gone by "pinatec".

Halict takes you from a form submission to the reply on one screen. It's Halictus, the sweat bee, with the ending cut off. They land on you for the salt in your sweat, so they come to you on their own, which felt right for a tool about inbound messages. The copper is from one species that has a coppery metallic shine.
