Rosee is an indie-made, privacy-first AI skincare app for iPhone. Unlike most skin analysis apps, Rosee runs its analysis entirely on your device — your photo is never uploaded, never stored on a server, never seen by anyone but you. It scores hydration, glow, texture, skin tone (using real CIELAB ITA° measurement), dark circles, and redness — and when lighting or data isn't good enough to give a reliable score, it tells you so instead of making one up.

Hey I'm Youssef, the maker of Rosee. This started from a simple frustration. I tried a bunch of "AI skin analysis" apps, and two things bothered me every single time. First, almost all of them upload your face to a server to analyze it — your most personal photo, sitting on someone else's computer. Second, the scores felt fake: you could scan in terrible lighting and still get a confident, flattering number clearly designed to keep you opening the app. So I built Rosee around two rules: 🔒 Your photo never leaves your phone. The entire face analysis runs on-device. There's no server storing your face — privacy isn't a policy here, it's how the app actually works. 🎯 It won't lie to you. If the lighting is bad or the scan isn't good enough, it says "not enough data" instead of inventing a score. Honest beats flattering. It began as just a scanner, but kept growing as I used it daily — now it also checks product ingredients from real data, builds a routine around your skin, and tracks your scores over time so you can see what's actually working.
