Second, the scores felt fake: you could scan in terrible lighting and still get a confident, flattering number clearly designed to keep you opening the app. So I built Rosee around two rules: 🔒 Your photo never leaves your phone. The entire face analysis runs on-device. There's no server storing your face — privacy isn't a policy here, it's how the app actually works. 🎯 It won't lie to you. If the lighting is bad or the scan isn't good enough, it says "not enough data" instead of inventing a score. Honest beats flattering. It began as just a scanner, but kept growing as I used it daily — now it also checks product ingredients from real data, builds a routine around your skin, and tracks your scores over time so you can see what's actually working.
