As you may know, we just launched Dirac yesterday!
This is one small step towards building a better email for all of us who are stuck being our own email assistants.
The launch was incredibly fun for me as the Maker of Dirac. Many of you guys signed up for Dirac and our 100 founder members are starting to fill up spots.
There are so, so, many email apps out there: Superhuman, Hey, Slashy, Cowork gmail plugin, Spark Mail, Proton mail, Spacemail, Titan, Shortwave, Alfred, Canary, Spike, Tuta, Skiff, Icloud, Zoho, Yahoo (if it counts even).
But has any one of us tried it before? Why/Why not?
Founders lose hours everyday to doing email, when they should be spending the time to build and make real progress. Dirac was made to end that. Dirac is an AI-native inbox that scans your threads, drafts replies in your voice, and shows a brief with only what needs your decision, quietly dealing with the 80% of un-important emails in the background. You run your inbox by deciding, not being your own assitant.
According to studies, a founder spends on average, 28% of their working hours on email, which equates to 11/hr per week.
And the tools that were supposed to fix this? They just made founders faster at doing the work themselves. Faster sorting. Faster searching. Faster typing. You're still the one reading every thread, deciding what matters, drafting every reply. You're just a more efficient version of your own email assistant.
