Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I built riversong because I kept getting stories spoiled — googling a character's name and instantly seeing something I wished I hadn't. riversong is a spoiler-free AI assistant for books, movies, TV shows, games, etc. You can ask it questions about the story you're enjoying without the fear that comes with landing on a wiki page that tells you EVERYTHING. No more tiptoeing around wikis. No more accidentally ruining your own experience.

I love reading fantasy, but I kept running into an issue. I'd get to book 13 of a 36-book series (with each book being 4,000+ pages in length) and some character would show back up from 10 books ago and the author would be talking about them like I should know who they are. Now, at this point, I COULD google the character name & the series title, but then I'd end up on their wiki page that would tell me absolutely everything about them, including very prominent dates and locations of deaths. I did not like this. So I wrote riversong. You ask it questions about the media you're enjoying, and it answers your questions without dropping spoilers! Check it out and let me know what you think!
