Big supporter of remote anything!
So, congrats for your work!
What does < hand picked > mean when the first message that awaits me is:
> Pᴏsᴛ ᴀ ᴊᴏʙ ғᴏʀ $299
Also trying to figure out how can I apply 🖐hand picked🤚 when the only two positions I wanted to apply to were already closed, but still on Remotive.
I am not from a competitor trying to shoot holes or discredit your work.
Just a remote maker looking to be part of a professional remote work community. Understanding solopreneurship more and more, but also sad without good company.
@be_creatv Appreciate your feedback, Ivan! Sorry you came across a position that filled, totally our fault... Tagging jobs as "old" and letting user report those in a single-click is on our road-map :)
As for "hand-picked", we curate all jobs manually, even/especially paid ones:
> We're proud to have some companies pay to feature jobs - it means we can keep providing a free service to applicants, we're bootstrapped indie-hackers: no VC money here :)
> What this also means is that, in 2019, we turned down deals worth tens of thousands of dollars from companies that didn't match our values and didn't have remote workers interest at heart.
We've been a free resource for remote workers for 5 years and are excited for the 5+ years to come :) Thanks for bearing with us whilst we improve, Ivan!

@rdutel Great answers! Many thanks, Rodolphe! Sounds like you guys are doing good stuff as the report button is a great idea! Happy to abide.
Love you for not accepting money from companies not fitting your values. But I'm thinking if other solutions could be adopted for such cases.

I'd love to see you integrate Glassdoor reviews (or similar) on the job boards, as well as pay expectations. It's a great way to filter what you're looking for. Sorting by highest review or highest pay would really help narrow it down.

I love the idea, but the product misses some functionalities for me... One would be, as @esthershira already mentioned, to sort the US-only jobs out.
Additionally, I like the tags a lot, it would be great to see more of it, and not so software-development-centered (the tags seem to describe only a few most popular categories and that's it).
