RemindAlarm: Visual Reminders - RemindAlarm: Photo & Voice Reminders That Are Hard to Ignore

by
Most reminder apps rely on text notifications that become easy to ignore. RemindAlarm takes a different approach. Create reminders using photos and optional voice recordings that appear on your lock screen when they matter most. Perfect for medication, shopping, family reminders, daily routines, and anyone who experiences notification fatigue. ✓ Photo reminders ✓ Voice reminders ✓ Works offline ✓ No ads ✓ One-time purchase

Since launch I've continued improving RemindAlarm based on user feedback.

The latest update introduces Reminder Preview Mode, making it much easier to browse saved reminders before editing them.

I also refined the Play Store experience and clarified that RemindAlarm isn't trying to replace task managers—it's designed for reminders where seeing a photo and hearing a voice can be more effective than another text notification.

The lock screen photo reminders are a clever twist, I set one for my meds and it actually stuck with me more than a regular notification would. Nice that it's offline and just a one-time purchase too.

Thanks! That's exactly what I was hoping to achieve. The idea behind RemindAlarm is to make reminders harder to ignore by using something more personal than another text notification. I'm really glad to hear it worked well for your medication reminder!

Photo reminders sound great for meds and routines. One idea: add a quick "snooze with reason" option where I can tap a preset like "still at work" or "out of medication" and it pushes the alert a bit instead of just delaying it silently. Would help me track why things slip.

Thanks for the thoughtful suggestion! I like the idea of making snoozing more meaningful instead of just delaying the reminder. I'll definitely keep it in mind as I continue improving the app.

How does the voice recording part actually play on the lock screen, like does it auto-play out loud or do you have to tap to listen?

Thanks for the question! The voice recording plays automatically when the reminder goes off, so you don't need to tap anything. It acts as the reminder sound (ringtone), and adding a voice recording is completely optional.

If you prefer more privacy, you can simply use the photo reminder by itself. The full-screen photo on the lock screen is often enough to remind you without any audio playing.
