So Refgrow works perfectly for those too — AI tools, no-code apps, dev tools, you name it. The “SaaS” angle is mostly about the delivery model, not the niche.
Looks great. We tried to set up an affiliate programme a few months ago. It was a pain, and it was expensive for something of which you're not 100% sure it's going to work. We never actually launched it because it had too many complexities.
What makes our case more complicated is that our ICP wouldn't be that interested in doing it for the money. So we set up a point system that would unlock extra value, like a live workshop. Does Refgrow support such a setup up or does it only support commission payments?

Right now, Refgrow is focused on commission-based rewards (flat or percentage), which fits most SaaS affiliate use cases out of the box.
That said, your setup sounds really interesting — using points to unlock non-monetary value like workshops or features. While it's not a built-in feature (yet), we're definitely open to custom reward logic or even extending the platform if there's a fit.

Does Refgrow handle the actual payments that we need to send to affiliates? If so, how does it handle the tax obligations?

@robertmallen Refgrow doesn't handle the actual payouts directly — you stay in full control of when and how you pay your affiliates. This gives you flexibility and avoids third-party transaction fees.
However, on the Pro and Business plans, we offer auto mass payout tools (via CSV or integrations), making it easy to pay affiliates in bulk if needed.
As for taxes: since you're the one processing payments, you’re responsible for handling tax obligations (e.g. collecting W-9s, issuing 1099s if you're in the US, or VAT forms if in the EU). We provide access to affiliate data, earnings, and export tools to support that.
