by
Built for service workers who track jobs in notebooks. Recordly replaces paper notes with simple logging: tap to add clients, record services, track payments. No complex CRM features—just what cleaners, handymen, and contractors actually need. 14 languages supported.

Hey fellow makers! 👋 I'm excited to share Recordly with you today. I built this app for my wife, who runs a small cleaning service (just her and her sister). All the time, I'd see her come home after a hard day's work, sit down, and write everything in a physical notebook—client names, phone numbers, addresses, payment amounts, dates. It worked... until it didn't. The problems were constant: - Couldn't find a client's phone number when they called - Forgot if client paid for last month - No idea how much she earned in October - Notebook gets wet/lost/damaged - Can't search or filter anything So I decided to make her life a little easier and fix it. I built Recordly—exactly what she needed. A fast, simple service note app that she can use on the fly. 3 taps: add record, check summary, done! **What makes it different:** 🎯 Built for service workers, not enterprises - Designed for cleaners, handymen, contractors, dog walkers, tutors - No "lead scoring" or "pipeline management"—just simple job tracking ⚡ Fast logging (under 30 seconds to add a service) - Tap client → enter amount → tap date → done - No forms with 20 fields you don't need 📊 See what actually matters - Monthly earnings at a glance - Which clients still owe payment - Calendar view of all jobs 🌍 14 languages (my wife's friends asked for Polish, Russian, Ukrainian) - Full localization, not just UI translation - Built-in currency 💵 support for 26+ countries After my wife started using it, her cleaning service friends asked for copies. Then contractors. Then freelancers. That's when I realized this could help a lot of people. P.S. I even have a cool story about how my app helped save a lot of nerves and time in one crisis situation. Maybe I'll tell you about it next time 😊 **What I'd love feedback on (basically everything):** - Is it useful for you or someone you know? - What features would you add or change? - What's missing that you'd need? - Which other service industries could benefit from this? Happy to answer any questions! And if you know someone who tracks their work in notebooks, send them my way 😊
