Which real estate follow-ups should always require an agent’s review?
We’re building Real Extent, an AI follow-up assistant and CRM for real estate agents. We’d like feedback on where agents want a human approval step.
Consider this after-showing situation: a buyer asks when the roof was replaced, and the available listing information doesn’t answer it. A helpful draft can acknowledge the question and say what is still being checked. It should not invent a date or imply that a source has already confirmed it.
Our suggested review checklist:
Check property details against the actual source.
Confirm access before promising a showing time.
Make sure the wording fits the buyer’s question.
Honor requests to pause or stop follow-up.
Offer one next step that the agent can actually deliver.
Real Extent does not independently verify property facts or showing access. Agents need to check those details before sending.
We put practical examples in this free after-showing buyer-question guide.
If you’re an agent, which of these checks takes the most effort? What would you always want to approve yourself? Examples without client names or private details would help us understand the workflow.
