Why is it worth being on Product Hunt every day?
I’ve been here for almost three years, and over time, I’ve started to see this platform as a social network.
I know that many people come to launch their products and, due to time constraints, do not have time to establish a strong presence here, but I’m glad some regular users focus on building the community.
Why do I consider the time spent on PH valuable?
For several reasons:
I learn about the latest tech innovations first.
The community has a business-minded and friendly attitude.
I gain qualified contacts (connections on LinkedIn).
Collaborations.
Bonus: publicity and visibility when you manage to secure a spot at launch, or when you are active daily.
Have you found a reason why it's worth being on the platform often? What does it give you?

@je_suis_yaroslav One of the options :D

@je_suis_yaroslav Haha, YUP 😂
@je_suis_yaroslav Haha, I feel that! The streak is definitely a surprisingly strong motivator. It makes the consistency easy.
@je_suis_yaroslav it's like a game :D I can't be so consistent although I really want to

@je_suis_yaroslav @olga_scry Gamification of this platform was the most neat move ever. :D

@je_suis_yaroslav Amen brother 🙏
Apart from building a network for future launches, for me it's the people that really matter here. Since something brought each of us to this platform one day, chances are you'll meet people (or a person) on the same wavelength, with similar principles, mindset, problems, etc. And experience and ideas exchange with like-minded people is huge :)
Staying in the loop is huge too! Although it's getting harder for me personally to keep up with everything going on - it seems I'm super old school 😂
@helga_impalpable Came here to say the same, thinking of out conversation!! How funny!
@theo_crewe_read no way!! I had our conversation in mind, too! How cool is that?! 😄
@helga_impalpable a lovely coincidence and testament to our statements!!
@theo_crewe_read exactly 😄 absolutely in love in such coincidences!

@helga_impalpable the same wavelength, with similar principles, mindset, problems – THIS! I couldn't believe that I would ever find such a platform in my life. It is trully a miracle to be here :)
@busmark_w_nika couldn't agree more! I used to be quite sceptical about the possibility of building a real network in the beginning, though :)

@helga_impalpable It is possible, but it takes time and effort :)
We have two main categories of comments on PH. One is praise and suggestions for improvements to new launches, which requires a little more time and more focus, and the other is Nika's daily topics, which can be interesting and relaxing with much less involvement than in the first case.

@d_ferencha Hehehe, thank you! :) I am trying to keep this community active and you contribute to this effort as well :)

It’s the consistency that pays off. Being active daily means I learn from others, spot trends early, and build real momentum for upcoming launches. Plus, the positive energy here always makes me want to come back!
I won't say much about PH but its just fun to be here and see interesting discussions.

@sanskarix Same for me. The vibe is friendly, non-offensive, so I am happy here :)

To discover interesting new product launches and see if there are any practical insights. And of course, I’m all about maintaining my streak 🤣

@peilan_qin Is it an addiction, isn't it? :DD
CalPulse
@busmark_w_nika It kind of is! hhhh

@peilan_qin 🤝
As a daily reminder to check the platform, I use the messages that I receive on LinkedIn))))
minimalist phone: creating folders
@viktorgems They ask for upvotes, right? :D
@busmark_w_nika Of course :D I am waiting for someone who would show some interest in GemsAround, but all the messages that I receive are more or less the same. Some are a bit different- do you need any help (paid of course) -which again, I wouldn't say that are better. Anyway, hope dies last, maybe those enthusiasts are on their way to reach out :D
minimalist phone: creating folders
@viktorgems Remember, the bigger you are, the more messages you will receive. 😂
@busmark_w_nika Not sure whether that's a good thing :)))
Totally agree, Nika! Well, speaking about myself, yeah, I came for the launches BUT stayed for the community and insights. Being active every day isn’t just about visibility (though the streaks are fun, btw, I'm on my 110 day today!), it helps me understand what the tech community values. You notice patterns in launches, messaging that works, and emerging trends before they hit mainstream.
Using Product Hunt as a daily habit is way more valuable than just using it to launch a product. Plus, it’s fun to see what people are creating!

@oksana_ch Thank you for your contribution, Oksana. Actually, you can receive valuable feedback here. And congrats to your 110 days :)

@oksana_ch You are welcome :)

Same here! The community vibe is what keeps me coming back.

@abod_rehman Finally, a place where people are positive about their entrepreneurial efforts.
Out of curiosity, you really did not miss any day during that "1051 day streak" ?)))
minimalist phone: creating folders
@viktorgems Nope. I hope that I will maintain it :)
@busmark_w_nika That's what I call commitment, 2lingo users would envy you :D
minimalist phone: creating folders
@viktorgems It is a part of my personality to stick to routines :D
While I'm not exactly daily on the platform, I do enjoy checking it regularly as I find the community here valuable - it's nice to connect with people who are passionate about turning their ideas into products, have an early-adopter kind of mindset, and look at life as a lifelong growth journey. Learning about cool products is a nice bonus!

@ruxandra_mazilu Thanks to this platform, we are still up-to-date :)
