I've thought about building this a million times. I knew would eventually launch it. Can't wait to start answering peoples questions!
Can't wait for this to evolve into something even bigger. I'd like to believe that the Amazon Echo and Google Home integrations are being worked on ;)
Congrats on the release! It's been interesting to follow the great questions asked and what great hidden gems people remember to recommend. Do you plan on making the "Ask" link more visible, e.g. Left sidebar?
you'll start to see popular questions appear on the homepage. You can also follow questions to get notified when new answers are added. Everything you follow is listed in your .
This is a great idea! One thing I noticed though, the titles of recommended apps aren't clickable to the Product Hunt page. The image is though. Just a little #ux thing. Great work!
ahh thanks!
No no no, thank YOU for this great service/product/killer of all my productivity.
This is awesome! Now maybe hook into PH API and build a service on top of this. No reason you couldn't profit by selling direct to consumer. For example...need to choose between iPhone or Samsung phone...get a product recommendation and sell direct (even pay commission to those that do the research and recommend). This model is basically the reverse of what Enjoy is trying to do now.
What a fantastic clip of Mr Klopp
Great idea! Maybe Home&Echo integration? ;-)
that's a great idea. launched a basic version of our a few months back. Perhaps it's time for an update. 😊
I love this. Product Hunt has always been about product discovery, focussing on the latest products, but having a place to ask the community here "what's the best thing at X" is hugely valuable. Finding the right product just got much easier. Example: I'm looking for a new travel/work backpack and some of the community shared their favourites: Honestly it's nice to see PH double down on what its great at, people finding products 👍
Will all answer start with "There's an app for that..."
Great stuff, I would add a # counter for the tab 'following': Is there also API possibility (to list your 'following' for example on my blog/website, or other apps on top of it)?
Will add to API at some point, haven't started working on that yet. :)
Cool idea. But are you going to do anything with the spam?
Yea shouldn't be able to answer your own question
