#2 feels especially real. The hard part probably isn’t just adding noise/breaths back into the cloned voice — it’s preserving the person’s habits of emphasis, hesitation, pacing, and when they *don’t* sound polished.

A useful product here might need a “voice taste profile” or approval loop, not only better synthesis. Let people mark examples as “too clean,” “too flat,” or “actually sounds like me,” then use that as the constraint.
