I had a very poor experience with Post Planner. Maybe I can save someone else the frustration of dealing with them. I pre-paid for an annual plan early last year. In November, *three months* before my subscription was due to renew, they auto-charged me for another year of service. I didn't plan on renewing, however, since the service wasn't that useful to me. (It could definitely be useful to others.) They also upgraded me (unprompted) to a higher-tier plan that would be more expensive for me in the next billing cycle. When I got in touch with their customer service to ask for a refund and to cancel the forthcoming plan, they refused to reverse the charge and specifically told me that their Terms of Service allow them to auto-renew their customers three months early. No interest in doing the right thing and refunding a charge for a service I hadn't received (and didn't want). The unsolicited plan upgrade was positioned as a "thank you" for my business, as they had provided the upgrade at a discount on its first billing cycle. No mention that it would be dramatically more expensive in the next billing cycle. Reviews from other customers on the Better Business Bureau list other complaints about other questionable billing practices. Really shady behavior. It sure seems like they're trading long-term customer good will for short-term cash.
