This is exciting! Can't wait to try it out! (And cool that you have Copenhagen in your video - being from Copenhagen, this is not something we see to often :-) ).
Looking at the feed it seems very similar to YikYak. Is the primary differentiator the ability to connect and wondering why you didn't provide a GPS option alongside city filter - especially if messages expire after 24hrs and travelers are a primary target?
@redoisin Hi Oisin. Thanks for the question. We focus a lot on the 'City' aspect which is something I don't feel YikYak does in quite the same way. There are a few different ways you can approach geo-location in app, we opted for the 'city filters' for right now. Travellers are certainly one user group for us that is proving really interesting but we're also finding Plane is proving very useful to people that aren't transient. Thanks again for reaching out.

I wanted to give it a try but I'm stuck at the phone step, nothing happens when I enter my phone number and press "Next". I'm in France and tried with a French number FYI.

Nice explainer video! I could see this finding a home among conference attendees (eg game developers currently visiting SF for GDC, or people organizing activities at Microconf). May be some ways to facilitate those sorts of use cases early on while global user density is low.
@bcjordan Hi Brian. Apologies picking up this response late. I agree. We're already seeing requests from users where they feel there could be value for them attending confs in different cities. And then connecting with peers and networking using Plane. Do you have any contacts you think we could speak to about getting this in place and trialling it?

Looks very nice and strange at the same time. Good job at all. But a lot of bugs. Crashes when click to the push notification. Social card requests comes only after restarting app. Iphone6 iOS 9.3.1
