What's the biggest tech problem facing independent pharmacy owners today?
I've been talking to small pharmacy owners across India and noticed something surprising — most are still using paper registers, Excel sheets, or just plain memory to manage their entire business.
Stock tracking? Manual.
Expiry dates? Written in pencil.
Customer refill reminders? "I just remember their faces."
With 900,000+ pharmacies in India alone, the gap between available technology and actual adoption is massive.
I'm curious — for those of you in healthcare, pharmacy, or running small businesses:
What do you think is the #1 reason independent pharmacy owners haven't adopted technology yet?
Too expensive?
Too complex?
No awareness?
They simply don't feel the need?
Would love real opinions — building in this space and want to understand the problem deeper before assuming I have the answers.
