Personably - Create amazing on-boarding experiences for new hires

by

Personably helps fast growing teams onboard their new employees.

It automatically sends emails before someone starts, sets up their Slack, Google and other accounts, and schedules everything that needs to happen in the new person’s first weeks and months.

Hey Product Hunt! Really cool to be hunted. I'm Lewis, CTO at Personably. We built Personably after seeing the importance of onboarding for fast growing teams. When you're scaling a company, it's vital to ensure every new hire gets the best start possible. Personably automates sending welcome emails and creating new accounts. Once new hires join, we schedule their onboarding sessions across the company, automatically finding when everyone is free. Long term, our mission is to improve the employee experience from day one. We want to help companies build the strongest relationship with their employees from the moment they start. Let me know if you have any questions! P.S. the scheduling feature need you to be using a G Suite domain right now! Office 365 integration coming very soon 😄
product looks great — really solid use case. Who or what are your biggest competitors?
Hey - we still see lots of teams using spreedsheets and to-do lists to manage this! There are others such as Rippling and WorkRamp doing interesting things in this space.
Amazing design, the idea seems solid, joined many companies where day 1 I was just lost, this would have been a great help! Congrats on the launch! 🎉
Thanks ! ✨
The folks at Personably are awesome and I’m so glad to see this finally hit Product Hunt! Congrats to Kat, Lewis and the rest of the team! 👏
Thank you Sean!
[RANT] I really can't stand those SaaS where pricing is hidden behind some trial or some sort of subscription. I want to know pricing before I give you my data or phone number or else.
Hi Saverio! This is totally understandable and we are planning to add a pricing page. Most people who have pricing questions and don't want to sign up contact us anonymously through the Intercom chat on our website.
New design is looking really slick!
Thanks Stevan! Our designer has been doing some awesome work on making Personably easy to use. So much better than when it was just Lewis and I trying to figure it out.
Excellent, smart team solving a worthy problem. We'll definitely be using Personable at Encore when we begin to scale our team!
Thanks James! We'd love to have Encore as a customer 😄
Great work guys, awesome to see this launch!
Thanks Matt! Appreciate your help over the last few months.
Congrats and ! 👏 Love the idea, I'm working on an idea in the same space and maybe we could work on an integration one day 😆 How did you guys manage to get such great clients so early on?
Thanks Ciprian! Maybe we could, would love to hear more about what you're working on. I used to work at GoCardless, and we knew the Monzo team well. They were both incredibly helpful when we were testing our early product with them, which allowed us to iterate quickly and build something useful for more teams!
What is the pricing? Why is it hidden?
Hey ! The pricing is based on how many hires you're onboarding. It works out at around £50 - £70 per hire. We're big fans of companies with transparent pricing, and we're keen to do the same ourselves. We'll be working on a public pricing page over the next few months :)
Looks really slick! 🙌 Love this use-case. Where do you think the target customer for this product lies? We've seen a challenge with many components of "onboarding" being facilitated by the ATS/LMS/HRIS systems. And while they're not immersive onboarding-specific tools, their functionality is getting more robust.
Thanks Chris! ✨ We've seen the HR systems you've mentioned handle onboarding well up until a point and especially where teams are smaller. Having checklists and being able to assign tasks can be all that's needed at that size/velocity. With Personably our target customer is scaling quickly and looking for something to automate away the manual tasks instead of just letting people know what needs to be done.
