Paste - Clipboard history manager for your Mac

by

Paste is a new way to copy and paste for your Mac. It keeps everything you've ever copied and lets you use your clipboard history anytime you need it across all your devices.

UPD: Please check out Paste 2!

I rarely purchase apps for my mac (I'm almost always disappointed) I just bought this and it works wonderfully! Great work!

This is a great little app! It would be even greater if it syncronised copied stuff across computers, or to iPad/iPhone, etc!

@williamgill yeah, working on that ;) And looking forward for Universal Clipboard in macOS!

I set clipboard history to unlimited and can quickly search/find old code snippets. If I ever need to remember something, I just copy it then can find it later.

I've used a quite a few of these and Paste is by far my favorite.

Pros:

Best UI for a clipboard manager. Use it MANY times a day

Cons:

It occasionally doesn't start when I restart my laptop, so I have to start it manually.

looks great! i find myself always needing a place to temporarily hold links while jumping around tabs, etc - excited to test it out.

Oh, I've always looked for something like this!

I've always wanted a clipboard manager but found other solutions to be clumsy. This is elegant and perfectly done. With the Direct Paste Helper, it gets turned to 11. Nice one.

@joshuapinter Thanks! And Happy Pasting! :)

I use an Alfred power pack feature to keep one month of my copy history. It doesn't do images but it's easily searchable and already part of an app I use everyday. I'll give this a spin though :)
Dmitry Obukhov
@bracco Try search in Paste – just start typing! You can use search as a filters too, for example "Safari Text foobar" will find all texts copied from Safari that contain "foobar". "Images", "Files" and "Links" are also supported.

Great and really enjoy the auditory feedback on a copy so far! Sometimes certain apps like Preview don't seem to copy on my first try sometimes, this will keep me from making unnecessary switches between apps when not necessary. You did a real great job with your goal of making Paste feel like it is a native part of the system! Something that is much more difficult than it seems in my experience making a menubar app. Congrats :)

@benwtnb Thank you!
