As a solo founder competing against products backed by much larger teams, this wasn't something I expected - but it was something I was determined to achieve. There were moments during the launch when I thought it would be incredibly difficult.
But this incredible community showed up.

Building a startup alone can be challenging, and seeing so many people believe in the vision means more than I can put into words.
What is own.page? 🌐
I created own.page to make building an online presence simple, beautiful, and accessible - while still providing the tools creators need to grow in the digital world.
No coding. No complicated setup. Just an intuitive way to create your own corner of the internet, customize it, publish it, and grow your audience.
What started as a simple mini-page builder has evolved into a platform with widgets, analytics, themes, community features, and much more.
The Results 📈
Since the launch:
🎉 Over 1,000 new registrations
🌍 More than 6,000 website visits
💡 Hundreds of valuable pieces of feedback
🐛 A few bugs discovered (and some already being fixed 😅)
Most importantly, I've gained an amazing community that's helping shape the future of own.page.

Right now, I'm focused on:
Fixing bugs and improving stability
Implementing user feedback
Adding more features for audience growth
Expanding community-focused tools
Making own.page even easier to use

I like your idea Elitza ! I found this bug this when trying out the app. It said auth_failed but I still got in
1,000 new registrations and #2 as a solo founder is no joke. curious how much of the traction came from building community on PH before launch vs driving people from outside. because getting the first few hours right seems to be the whole game
That's a HUGE milestone you should absolutely be proud of! Plus, it's inspiring for those of us Solos building on our own - we CAN do this :)

Really needed to read this today. Solo founder in Berlin, launching soon, and the fear of going up against funded teams is real. What surprised me most in your post is that it came down to community showing up, not some growth hack. Did you build that community before launch, or did it mostly happen on the day?
