Orca Score for Airbnb - Instantly rank any Airbnb listing before booking

Hey PH Community! I never thought we’d make this tool public, we actually built it for our own internal use, but our Members found it so valuable that we wanted to release it to the remote work community publicly. For months (before starting Orca), @atneik and I were living out of Airbnbs, booking multiple months at a time. To find good/reliable listings, we spent dozens of hours scrolling through photos, reading descriptions, and looking through amenities that you can’t actually filter by. It was a huge pain. Eventually we launched Orca so we never had to stay in a bad unit again — soon thereafter we built the Score tool to help our members assess listings in destinations we hadn’t launched yet. Our members found it insanely valuable, we were a bit shocked, and so we decided to engage the whole community of remote workers with this valuable tool. The Orca Score instantly checks listings for the amenities that matter for extended stays: verified wifi, kitchen essentials, laundry machine, etc. It’s really hard to compare listings when everything has 4.5-stars, but our 100-point system makes it way easier to compare apples to apples. Looks sweet. Will there be a Chrome Extension to use it while having the Airbnb web app open?

I use AirBnB very often and my big concern is that I can't sort by rating (as you can do in Booking). Your solution also looks interesting. i will definitely try it!

This is going to be short and sweet: Airbnb's way of checking listings sucks. The only way to learn this is by going through a multitude of horrible experiences with them. Their customer support is great, but I much rather just have peace of mind after I travel for 18 hours straight than some vouchers after I got screwed. Thanks for creating this, Devan!

Oh wow, this is great! and very much needed! Can say how many times have stayed at an Airbnb that had 1 fork and no knives, pots, or pans. Or you show up there is a TV but it doesn't have a remote. This should be a game-changer, congrats on the launch and best of luck guys!
