Hi there,
Back in 2019, I built MySigMail to make it easier to create professional email signatures. It gained some traction, but I paused development while focusing on other projects (like massCode, open-source code snippet manager).
Now I’m bringing MySigMail back as v2 — open-source, client-side, and designed for developers who value transparency and control.
Why MySigMail?
Creating a decent email signature is harder than it looks:
- Outlook and other clients still rely on table-based HTML
- What looks fine in Gmail can break elsewhere
- Adjusting fonts, spacing, and images is time-consuming
- Most tools are closed-source or behind expensive subscriptions
MySigMail fixes that with a free, open-source tool that runs in your browser or locally.
Features
- Full customization — fonts, colors, avatars, social icons, custom fields
- Templates included — start with ready-made professional layouts
- Add-ons — disclaimers, CTAs, banners, and more to make your signature stand out
- Lightweight & local — no server required, just run it in your browser
Why open source matters
Most email signature generators are proprietary. MySigMail v2 is open and transparent — you can run it locally, self-host, or contribute. Perfect for devs and teams who want flexibility beyond SaaS.
I’d love your feedback
- Would you use a client-side, open-source signature tool?
- What features would you like to see next?
