Have you had success with guerrilla marketing?

I'm learning (slowly) about the importance of marketing . (I am probably one of around guerrilla marketing)

So last night I hacked together to see if it could drive some leads for my product.

I'm going to launch the playful tool next monday and use this thread to give a plot synopsis on how it all goes.

Prior to launch though, I'm curious if anyone has any feedback that might make the hook stronger?
I added (a poorly designed) OG image, so the shareable is at least somewhat tasteful:

What else am I missing?

Maybe change "how much do you make pooping?" to "How much do you earn by pooping?" For some reason it's weird to me to read "make pooping" 😂

But it looks fun, I would click it.

I didn't have an issue with how it was read until you highlighted it... now it's weird to me too TT__TT

haha ok good feedback, will update!

feedback deployed:

anything else that stops you from sharing with your friends?

have deploy script and not afraid to ship changes for you!

 Looks good to me!

FYI your personal website links on your profile is broken

this one? I tested +/- incognito and it worked, but maybe im missing something. does resolve for you?

Yea maybe it was a fluke, it's working now. Earlier when I tried to see it I was getting "error: bad request"

This was funny :D how did you come up with that? :D

 I've heard this rhyme before:

Boss makes a dollar, I make a dime.

That's why I poop on company time!

Back when I used to work for a moving company the guys would always be saying that! I guess it just stuck with me over the years haha.

At some point I bought the domain for it, thinking I would make the app.

made me realize I could use it to promote .

I'm not sure it will actually convert, but I need to keep trying to improve at marketing, so this feels like a step in the right direction. if for no other reason than its forcing me to think like a marketer...

The first time I hear a domain name, it sounds weird. But it's a good marketing tool to grab attention.

It's like when you stop scrolling and a light bulb goes off in your head: "Wait, what?" :DD

Generally speaking, you're message needs to be very simple and clear. Like could it be compared to anything to help better contextualize? What specific problem does it solve? How does it fit into someone's current lifestyle or workflow? Those types of questions help build a clear messaging strategy.

The graphic is honestly great though lol. Def will stop a scroll. 😆

This is genius :)

lol, got my attention dude.

This is fun and a great marketing idea! I guess we do poop gold ;) I've shared with the office

Upvoted because that's such a cool topic! Maximal results with minimum budget, what's not to like?
