Hi - my company created this product and I have asked all the team members to join product hunt so you can meet them. There are two separate paths that came together to create this. First, we all worked for a Web3 company - before Web3 was a thing and it was called blockchain or crypto - and as we had all been around for a while and thought of launching actual products instead of tokens, we wondered how blockchain tech would be used as part of a customer retention mechanism in the real world, as opposed to the on-ramp in the crypto world through pre-selling tokens and NFTs. The second is SMEs have been a foundational part of my life. I was fed, schooled and housed because my mother was the ultimate SME - a sole trader. This is always where I have wanted to make a difference. The words loyalty and Web3 are seen together often now, but all the talk is about Starbucks Odyssey or Nike. I wanted to build something for the guys still using printed stamp cards or email lists. The ones for whom their own app is just a step too far for a multitude of reasons. That thinking and desire led to meed. meed is not a Web3 product but it uses web3 to verify certain things such as membership, which is more efficient than constantly pinging requests to APIs. The full product will launch in the Spring but we are weeks away from a beta which we will make public and free. We want small businesses all over the world to try it and for us to see if it makes the difference we believe it can.
