1st PH launch concluded few hrs back - Quick insights

MarketFit's PH launch just concluded few hrs back (i.e. on Sep 28).

A big thanks to everyone who cheered us and gave us feedback.

We christened Sep 28 as “Don’t Sell. Solve Problems” day and many endorsed this idea.

We were happy to end at rank #9, just after the 8 featured products :

  • #9 indicated the immense love we got vs a couple of hundred launches.

  • Top (#1) among non-featured products was just great.

  • Comments from the community/users, not just on launch day but also in few other threads in the launch week, showed the interest/approval for MarketFit…that was exactly what we were looking for. So, the core goal was achieved even before launch.

Some observations / things we were not aware of:

  • Featured products get an initial bump-up of about 50 to 60 points to start the day. Funny that we didn’t know this even though we were hoping to get featured considering good pre-launch followers list and the feedback of users on novelty, usefulness, UX and creatives/videos.

  • Featured products are the only ones that show up by default even after the first 4 hrs. On the PH website, you can toggle from featured to ‘all’ to see all products but on mobile app, you cannot see non-featured products unless you search for them. Some PH followers couldn’t find us due to that and we didn’t know.

All in all. It was good fun, great networking opportunity, and a big market-validation of MarketFit.

Core goals achieved. Back to solving now 😊.
