It was always a challenge for me to find content at my exact level in French. It was frustrating because I knew a bit of the language but not enough to read a native book. That’s why I created Lune, to keep track of what you're learning and build content just for your level in a language. We also generate quizzes, flashcards, and even lessons to expand your knowledge. It's been a fun journey making this application for you all and there's so much more we can do together. Thanks for checking us out!

Congratulations on your launch! That solves many of my problems like always wanting to learn so many languages but I am usually stuck at learning materials and so many more things. So I'm very interested to try it out but I have a question how will it help me out to learn new languages?

@chrisliam Well, it will focus on getting you speaking quickly with the most common 500 - 1000 words in a language. These are words you would use HAVE to encounter in that language. So you're getting the meat and potatoes of the language quickly.

How do you actually build-in the personalized knowledge journey per user? Sounds super interesting!

@oliver_nexamind We track what you learn as you encounter it. So we'll show you a generated story about a retired assassin. But let's say you don't know the word for 'assassin' in Italian (it's assassino/a) and you tap the word looking for a definition. Now the app knows one word you are struggling with. We do this over a long enough time period and we have a snapshot of your knowledge. This then gets cycled back into the system to make a guess with AI about what to teach you next. We are not feature complete yet but this is where we're heading!
