Logitech K480 - First Multi-Device Keyboard

Damn. this is frustrating. They came in with the rounded corners on the keys. I can't buy this. It's also too small of a keyboard. I suppose someone at logitech should measure the average hand sizes of different cohorts. I imagine it doesn't normally distribute.

What do you think, does the arrival of good accessories for mobile devices mean we'll stop using laptops (apart from software development and other resource intensive work)? I could see doing about 95% of my work on my phone at this point.

Really wish there was an added trackpad. I did just by a folding keyboard for my Tab S 8.4 so this looks perfect to replace that.

I'm a big advocate for keyboards on mobile devices (no really :-)) I use a Logi with an iPad mini. I like the design of this one quite a bit from the renderings. I don't want to be negative but at 1.8lbs it does seem a bit on the weighty side.

At first I was going to come here and suggest anyone buy the K810 that I'm using instead of this (it's been out for a while and can switch devices very quickly). However, at half the price this K480 is a win!!

After using it for one and a half year, I conclude that this device is not worth buying. 1) One key feature is you can connect this keyboard with three devices. But I seldom leverage this. 2) The keyboard is very heavy and thick in my perspective. So it's not practical to carry it as a mobile productivity tool. 3) The after-sale support is terrible. One of the keys is malfunctioning and I tried to contact the customer support, they're very unprofessional. First, it take them more than one week before they reply me. Then, I found they don't carefully read your emails because every time they just copy and paste some template reply to you, which is not relevant to what I said sometimes. And after I updated my information, it took another one week before they replied. Eventually, after one month of waiting, they told me that the warranty was expired. I filed a complaint about their terrible customer service and no one has ever reached me!
