Hello PH π,
Harsh here maker of Linkcollect πββοΈ.
Our journey started in early 2023 when I was creating content on Instagram and experienced rapid growth. I shared my experiences as a software engineer, and soon, students were asking for the learning resource links I used, this sparked the idea for Linkcollect
What makes Linkcollect unique is its simplicity and accessibility.
Key Features π:
- Save browsing sessions for later.
- Organise bookmarks into folders or collections and share them effortlessly. (commands or right click)
- Efficient search functionality, the ability to add notes to bookmarks, and access from browser of any device
- Discover collections by other users and easily find learning resources that people curate
We value your input and would love to hear your feedback. Give Linkcollect a try and let us know your thoughts.
Thank you for your support π
Congrats on the launch @askwhyharsh !
I sort of made the same assumption as another comment here - I thought this was a linktree alternative, whoops!
I think I'll go for this, just had some quick thoughts since you mentioned feedback:
- spelling/spellcheck on post-payment screen ;)
- one of the cover images on the examples for UGC is a guy in a bathtub, not sure if that was a brand image, but just sort of made me question if the tool is for professional/work users π
- I'd remove the 'upgrade' in bottom left of the first example image below the 'install extension' on landing page
- One of my key questions is if I can save from my phone as well, not sure how this could work, but a passing thought.
Congrats on your launch! V fun/quirky copy bits, entertaining and unique.
Hi @esus , Thanks for your feedback and giving linkcollect a shot,
1 - sure i will take care of that right now
2 - so the cover images are uploaded by users and is optional, but thanks for pointing this out so we will add some sort of validation and other check as well before processing images
3 - yes that makes sense, noted
4 - so long answer yes. since linkcollect users can login from any browser on any device, phone too. but the process as of now is you will have to paste the link in a collection. i know it's quite difficult in terms of user experience and hence we have though of also working on a app version once enough demand, that would make it easy to collect from phone.
Thanks π
if anything,
you can always drop me an email/dm anywhere
This is an interesting one. How do you ensure it is different and better than competitors like mymind?
