How'd the name "Kyte" come about?

great question! After Uber, Lyft, Lime, Bird, etc. we just needed a 4-letter word! just kidding! We liked the idea that cars can "land" in front of your door just like a kite. Makes sense?
This is the car concierge service I was waiting for. No more looking for cars or license plates. No more worrying about fuel or quality of the car. With Kyte I know I will get the car I expect at the time I order it without any cumbersome pick-up or drop-off process. This is now my go-to mobility solution.

We could use this in Seattle. ShareNow/Car2Go just announced they're pulling out of the US. That was our last remaining free-floating car share. This isn't a 1-to-1 replacement, but it could be useful nonetheless.

Sounds amazing! I frequently rent cars and I'm always worried about any surprise charges. How much do you charge when I return the car at a lower fuel level?

we don't charge any extra fees for fuelling up. You can return at any fuel level and we will charge you the actual amount at local pump rates 😃
Kyte sounds like the Goldilocks of car sharing. Lyft/Uber is too much. Zip is not enough. Kyte sounds just right. Hope to see you in Atlanta soon!

I’ve been a customer since day one. When I first heard about the idea, I thought “this is a serious first world problem”, but once I used the service, I saw the value. It really makes your life easier and the actual car delivery service is perfectly smooth — smoother than ordering food from DoorDash. T are putting in some serious work on the backend to make this a magical experience for customers. Great team, great product, lots of potential to grow.

Such a helpful product! Makes renting a car a breeze rather than dealing with waiting in line getting or returning the car. Totally changes the experience and makes it feel like you have your own car ready to go, whenever you need it (without the hassle of finding parking)!
