From day one, the mission has been to build an all-in-one, agentic engineering platform that supports you wherever you are.
It started with a @VS Code extension, launched 18 months ago, then a @JetBrains plugin, 6 months later. Both ranked among the Top Products on @Product Hunt.
@Kilo Code is now available on your phone. Download now:
As agentic engineering has evolved, I’ve found myself spending more and more time in the same loop:
Give an agent a task and wait for it to create a PR.
Review the PR and merge it.
Repeat.
Eventually, I realized I didn’t need to be at my desk for any of this. I could keep work moving while getting on with the rest of my day. That realization led to the Kilo mobile app.
The goal is simple: everything you can do at your desk, I want you to be able to do from your phone too (or a tablet, if you want to get fancy).
It has completely changed how I work. I use the app to build the app. I can take a walk in the park in the middle of the day while my agents keep working. A trip to the bank? No problem. A vet appointment? I can review a PR from the waiting room.
I care deeply about making Kilo the best way to work from your phone, but I know your workflow may look different from mine. If you try the app and find something missing, please open an issue in our GitHub repo. The app is open source, and I’ll gladly consider your request.
@hamza_afzal_butt hey! Thanks for the question! It's both. The idea was to build an app that can cover the whole workflow. As for my personal use case, I usually use it for the new landing pages/landing pages updates, including research and implementation. And I also review PRs of my colleagues.
@noahanderson The live agents list shows status of everything running, at a glance. There are also widgets and iOS live activity integrations which do the same thing.
@advin_jadis I think so! Give it a try, and if there's something you don't like or something impairing your workflow, I'd be happy to make improvements.
@iscekic random idea: we should work with OSS folks at @Novu

This looks useful. Can it host an entire app for mobile ? For example, if I want to vibe code a specific type of usecase on my phone directly, can it do that and run it?
@constships thank you! No, it doesn't host the entire app. For my work related tasks, I use Vercel and have all credentials ready on my local machine to deploy the apps.

@ab80 appreciate the support! go download it and make sure to add your review here: producthunt.com/products/kilocode/reviews
Whats the main use case you see for mobile users? Are people building features from their phones, or mostly reviewing PRs and managing agent sessions?
Congrats @arkadiy_kilo & team.

@hamza_afzal_butt thank you for your continuous support, you rock
The ability to control CLI sessions remotely stands out. Is there a way to quickly see which sessions are still running and which ones need attention?

@iscekic S/O for the thoughtful details 👏👏

strong +1 @noahanderson what should the team build/improve/fix from your perspective?
Does the mobile app show enough agent context to understand what is happening?

100%! @iscekic did a stellar job here:
Kilo Code for iOS
Kilo Code for Android
and if you feel something's off, @Kilo Code is open source, open an issue here
enjoy!!
Is there voice recognition for replies to coding bots from mobile or is it still text only?
Btw, Congratulations @fmerian @arkadiy_kilo @brian_turcotte & team @Kilo Code 🚀
Kilo Code
@aymi_malik the app support voice recognition in different languages. You can use native device voice input or use Kilo Gateway model.

The app has been such a game changer to my coding workflows!

@jobrietbergen strong +1 and it's open source. oss ftw
Could you add cutomizable alerts for completed builds PR updates and agent requests?
Kilo Code
@simonclark55 Please create an issue and I will look into it! If you outline how you'd like this to work, even better!

Good luck with the launch!

@constships The mobile app doesn't run any code itself, it acts as a client for cloud agents or cli sessions running on your own computer.
Thank you!
