This is a duplicate as the original page has been there for many years:
Hey Laurent! Thanks for reporting this to us :) Though it has been hunted again, it's so heartening to see the community showing so much love to Joplin. 😍
Please nominate as the maker of the project, which he literally is.
Absolutely! Laurent has been added as the Maker now 🙌 Arda, I have removed you from the Makers list now. However, being an open source project, each contributor is a 'Maker' :) Kudos to all of you for being such wonderful members of the Open Source world, and the PH community! 🤘
Thank you! I know, however, my contribution is next to nothing comparing to these rock stars, and I believe It would be simply unfair to have my name written there while theirs weren't.
Thanks ! Shouldn't the two pages be somehow merged then? Or we keep them separate?
Hunter
Hands down the best note taking app in existence. Thought I'd share as it doesn't seem to be hunted yet.
congrats on the launch! 😎
Hello! Can I export my existing notes to Joplin?
Hunter
cool! thanks!
Joplin is a game changer, I love how you approach note-tacking business. Well done to the team! 👏
Hello, is the owner and maker of the product. I'm merely a translator. I wonder why I was nominated as a maker. All credits go to him and the huge collaborators Also, there's already a project on ProductHunt.
, for some reason "Joplin" still doesn't show up in search, so people ask me again if they can add it to the database. Based on the current URL (joplin-4) I think we know have at least 4 Joplin pages on Product Hunt, because people search for it, can't find it, and then create a new page. And somehow these new pages are not indexed either. Any chance this could be fixed?
Our search defaults to products that have been on the homepage. After searching, you'll need to un-select the 'Featured products only' option on the results page to be able to see the Joplin posts that have been hunted. I have also fixed the search result for your originally hunted post and the users should be able to find it through search now :)
Top note-taking app for me. Super simple in use, markdown, plugins, cross-platform and a lot of other features.
Ok, guys, good job. The idea is looking good. But what the main difference to Notion?
