I built Queatis to help parents save time and raise healthier kids

byβ€’

Hey everyone! πŸ‘‹

I'm Julia, a founder with a background in economics (PhD), over 10 years in fintech and IT, and a deep belief that technology can make everyday life a little easier β€” especially for families.

A few years ago, I moved to Argentina with my daughter, and like many working parents, I found myself caught between too many responsibilities and too little time β€” especially when it came to something as simple and important as school lunches.

That's how Queatis started.

It's a free app that helps parents plan healthy lunchbox menus for their kids based on allergies, preferences, and variety β€” complete with clear instructions and recipes developed by a certified child nutritionist.

The name Queatis comes from a blend of three words β€” quickly eat list β€” and, as a small linguistic twist, echoes the word from Latin β€” "queatis", which can be interpreted as "you can do it."
That part really resonates with me.

Right now, we're still early β€” about 200 users β€” but the feedback has been incredibly valuable. Parents say it helps reduce daily stress, especially when dealing with picky eaters or food sensitivities. And for now β€” it's completely free.

In the coming months, I’d love to keep improving Queatis β€” make it smarter, more visual, more helpful β€” and eventually partner with services that care about healthy family habits too.

If you're a parent, or simply someone who cares about kids’ health, I’d love to hear your thoughts. And if you’ve ever struggled with visibility, launching something personal, or balancing big dreams with small steps β€” I’m with you.

Thanks for reading, and if you check out Queatis on Product Hunt, I’d love your feedback. 🩡
