Linear is now where teams keep their whole product context - issues, project decisions, cycle history, planning docs. That's a lot to have in one place, and worth protecting.
Cloudback now ships an official MCP server. Connect Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, VS Code, or any MCP client and manage your backup definitions, schedules, storages, and retention policies through plain-language chat - across GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, and Linear. One prompt can reschedule and re-retain 300 backup definitions at once - no dashboard clicks, no throwaway scripts. Runs as a Docker image (myrtlelabs/cloudback-mcp).
Cloudback runs automated, snapshot-based backups for Linear workspaces, GitHub, GitLab, and Azure DevOps. Linear capture covers 23 data categories: issues, projects, cycles, documents, comments, attachments, embedded files, and the workspace structure itself. Restore in dependency order from any backup, into a new target workspace. AES-256 with optional customer-managed keys (RSA Lockbox). SOC 2 Type II compliant. 1.7k+ customers, 14k+ repositories, 4M+ backups.
I m currently working on a major revamp of a project called FollowEngine.com, and I wanted to share the vision behind it with the PH community before our official launch.
The problem we re trying to solve is straightforward: keeping up with competitors has become almost impossible. Large enterprises have dedicated competitive intelligence teams, but startups, indie hackers, and small SaaS companies often rely on spreadsheets, bookmarks, or manual checks that quickly become outdated.
We re building FollowEngine to automate that process. Our platform continuously monitors competitors websites, pricing pages, product updates, ads, and marketing activities, helping teams discover who their real competitors are and understand what they re doing without spending hours on research.
Cloudback is the cloud backup service for GitHub repositories. The main feature is the support of various backup storages. The backup includes the repository metadata, such as issues, labels, milestones, etc.
