Scrapping the first attempt because it fell apart architecturally is the most useful line in your intro, and it is sitting in a subordinate clause.
I run a Flutter monorepo shipping four storefront apps, and the thing that nearly forced the same call was state that all four disagreed about. A rewrite was cheaper than patching it a fifth time.
