InternVL3.5 - Open-source MLLM with SOTA reasoning capabilities

InternVL3.5 is a new family of open-source multimodal models, from 1B to a 241B flagship. Powered by Cascade Reinforcement Learning, it achieves SOTA results on reasoning and agentic tasks, with a 4x inference speedup over its predecessor.

Hi everyone! Some models might not be household names (frankly, building a great model and building a great product are two different skills), but they are incredibly well-respected in the open-source community. The InternVL series from OpenGVLab is a perfect example. From the very beginning, they've insisted on native multimodality, which is crucial for long-term development. And now with InternVL3.5, that strategy is paying off. It's frankly stunning to see their largest model now scoring in the top 3 on major benchmarks. The speed of that leap is incredible. Here's a view that might not be mainstream yet: I believe the coming explosion of on-device models will trigger a new reshuffling of the competitive landscape for AI models. Let's wait and see.
