I am extremely baffled why any company uses Intercom. Every single time I've encountered it, I've been monstrously disappointed by the experience. Here's the user experience: -- Visit a site. -- Have a question. -- Try to figure out how to ask the question. -- See the chat bubble. "Ohh, I can chat with someone, cool!" =) -- Click the chat bubble. -- It says they respond within 4 hours. -- "WTF!!! ITS CHAT... you have to be there to answer the chat!" >={ The biggest issue is that is doesn't have a clear offline experience. It's just "Always On". Who's going to wait 4 hours? No one. You might as well have just had a little toaster/popup form.

Wish there would be more integrations with b2b lead generations, to see all the firmographics detail in intercom chat window

Pros:

Favourite chatbot, love the improvements and new features! Excellent customer support!

Cons:

Intercom does not push messages to already existing contacts in Pipedrive.

Intercom is amazing our website started generating 20% more leads through their webchat, and support features, and even our local company was able to generate real sales consultant appointments from Intercom. If you are a service based business you cannot go without Intercom!

Pros:

Love the lead capture and generation aspect

Cons:

Some features are still about web chat and I feel like part of the marketing world is trending towards text messaging and online reviews

Intercom is wonderful. Their user dashboard and the ability to keep conversations from leads organized by the assigned user is superb! We have used them for years and cannot imagine our website without them!

I understand the reason why they don't have it, but ticket functionality still serves as a vital part for many businesses.

Pros:

The product is just so easy to use. The features is really useful for both lead acquisition and technical support.

Cons:

They don't have support ticket function.

Numerous reasons to not START using Intercom: - Price: They offer the early stage program at 49 USD which sounds great. But after 12 months, the bill will look like 1,000 USD++. Their pricing page is extremely complex and misleading/ - Their support team is below average: They did not even read my question and they share with you articles unrelated to my question with me ... (the custom bot is even better than their human support) - They do unethical things to maximize/optimize their revenue: For instance, you can't delete your own data (I created ~ 100 users for testing purpose and when I wanted to delete them, they only offered "archive option" and then you need to delete permanently). Why do they do that? Simple, they are greedy: They charge you for archived users and don't allow you to delete them in one-click. - etc... However, the !product is great.
