Realistic or anime — what's your preference for your companion's look?

Imouto Chat lets you use any image for your companion — whatever you want, however you want them to look. No restrictions.

The default companions were all generated using my own local AI art app, Imouto Art — so they're not real people, not stock photos, not lifted from anywhere. Every face was created from scratch on my own machine, same privacy-first philosophy as Imouto Chat itself.

That said, I leaned toward ultra-realistic for most of them, but I know the anime crowd is strong and I get it. There's something about a well-drawn character that feels more expressive than a photorealistic face.

Curious where people land on this. Are you team realistic, team anime, or somewhere in between — painted, sketched, surreal?
