Manage, track and protect your Tesla, right on its screen
At every Supercharger stop, I found myself checking my car's stats on my phone β while sitting in front of a beautiful 15-inch screen showing a blank browser page. That felt backwards.
There are great Tesla apps for your phone. I wanted one that lives where you actually drive. So I built it: designed on the road, coded during charging stops (each one a 25-minute sprint), shipped from a hotel room. Thirty days from idea to the App Store.
It's called iCar β the Tesla dashboard that lives on the car's own screen (https://geticar.com). Trips drawn on a map, real charging costs, and a couple of controls the Tesla app doesn't offer. I'll save the details for tomorrow.
We go live here in about 8 hours, and there's a little something for the PH community in the listing. π
Until then, one question β it's literally my roadmap: Tesla owners, what's missing from your car's screen?
