HyNote for Apple Watch is your fastest way to capture thoughts on the go. Just tap your wrist to record—everything syncs to HyNote, where AI transcribes, summarizes, and turns recordings into actionable notes.
My name is Sandy, and our Apple Watch version just launched.
With Tech Week approaching, remembering all the data and insights from events can be tough. Last year, I attended 10 events and struggled with this myself. HyNote lets you focus on sharing and let our app record and take notes for you.
Just press the record button, and the audio will automatically sync to the HyNote app and web. You can then summarize the notes in various formats, such as bullet points or a LinkedIn post.
👋 Hi Product Hunt! Joanna here from the HyNote team.

✨ Highlights:
• Instant recording on Apple Watch ⌚
• Seamless sync across devices
• AI-powered transcripts & summaries
• Perfect for quick thoughts, meetings, or ideas on the go

Love this concept! Makes so much sense for Apple Watch.
Cheaper than Plaud. My only worry is battery drain though... watch apps can be brutal on power. Have you noticed any issues there?
@yehan_xiao Thanks, Yehan! We're glad you love the concept. You're right, battery drain is a valid concern. We've worked hard to optimize the app to be as efficient as possible. So far, we haven't seen any significant issues with battery life during our testing, but we'll continue to monitor this closely. We think the convenience of capturing insights on the go is a game-changer! 🚀
Congrats on the launch, Sandy! 🎉 HyNote sounds like a lifesaver for anyone juggling multiple events during Tech Week. The ability to record and turn audio into different formats is incredibly handy. Looking forward to trying it out and making note-taking a breeze! 🌟📱
@alex_cloudstar Thanks, Alex! We're thrilled you find the audio-to-different-formats feature handy. It was designed to do exactly that—make note-taking less of a chore so you can stay in the moment. We hope you'll find it a lifesaver!
Big congrats on the launch, @sandy_kong and @joanna_l_ ! 🎉 Love seeing tools that help capture and synthesize insights during packed event weeks—it’s such an overlooked problem.
Curious: do you handle things like dialectic differentiation or entity detection automatically, or is that something left to the user once the transcription is done? I imagine the real power here is in not just recording but actually structuring knowledge in a way that’s reusable across contexts.
@monzures Thanks so much, Tim! It's awesome to hear from someone who gets the value of capturing insights in real-time. To answer your question, dialectic differentiation and entity detection are absolutely what we're focused on. Our goal is to go beyond simple transcription and provide a structured, reusable knowledge base. The AI handles a lot of the heavy lifting to help surface those key insights automatically. We're constantly improving it and are excited to see how it evolves too!
@susan_pan1 Thank you Susan! Hearing that you can already see it fitting into your daily flow is the best feedback we could hope for.

This is a strong step forward in the productivity space. Recording on Apple Watch and making notes searchable, summarized, and integrated into workflows is where knowledge work is headed.
@andrew_jameson111 Appreciate that, Andrew. You nailed the vision — we want HyNote to become a seamless part of workflows, especially with Apple Watch and cross-device use.

This is convenient and powerful. Is it ok for HyNote to give insights or distill viewpoints?
HyNote AI
@arthur_winston3 Great question Arthur! Yes — HyNote is designed to not only capture but also help distill key insights. More on this coming soon 👀

Simple but effective—that’s the vibe I get from this. It doesn’t overwhelm you with features, yet it’s incredibly practical.

@yuncheng Thanks Lewis! That’s the exact balance we’re striving for — simple enough to adopt instantly, yet powerful enough to really make an impact.
