Hey everyone, I'm Jordan, the creator of How I Travel. How I Travel has been designed to showcase the most interesting travelers in the world by capturing their stories, the items they travel with, and the lessons they've learned along the way. It's equal parts informative and inspirational, giving readers a chance to learn deeply about an individual while still gleaning valuable insights about travel more broadly. I'd love to know what you think!

@jrdnbshp Thanks for creating this. I spent a good while reading through the interviews, and I think you've struck the perfect balance between inspiration, great design, and useful products and tips. Very well done -- I look forward to reading more in the future!

@dshaw_ Thanks David! I appreciate the support. If you know of someone who you think should be featured, feel free to get in touch here or on Twitter 😃
Alan
Hey Jordan! Would love to be featured...I've been backpacking for the past decade across Africa, India, and the Americas. I keep it lean and have spent the majority of my life living from my pack. How would I go about getting featured? https://www.linkedin.com/in/alan... http://theges.org/connect/alumni... Cheers!

I really like the design aesthetic you've built here. Simple reading, clean conversions, great photos. Well done

@ddmirolli Thanks a lot, Daniel. We've been working with exceptional photographers, and they make it easy to make the site look good.

I really love this concept! I always love to learn the habits of interesting people that do interesting things, so this site fits right with this trend for me! Really liked it. One thing though - Something about the structure of the stories doesn't fully work for me in terms of design. There are sections that have so much white space in between that your eye kind of looses the flow. Minimum.com does great work in terms of story design of similar stories, I would totally use it as a design reference. Either than that, awesome initiative!
Jordan Bishop
@roypovar Hey Roy, thanks for your support and feedback. I totally agree that the flow could be improved; I've got some content analytics on the site so that as we get more readers, I'll be able to get a good idea of where people drop off. Hopefully that will lead to some good insights.

Simple and beautiful website with interesting content. How do you see this evolving, @jrdnbshp? Tease us with your product pipeline! :) Also - you write marketing copy better than anyone I know. Love your emails.
Jordan Bishop
@darrenux Haha, thanks Darren. You must be talking about the welcome email chain you receive when you sign up for the mailing list 😉 There are a lot of ways How I Travel could evolve, but it's extremely important to me that the focus remain on telling the unique stories of a wide variety of unique travelers. There are so many people doing remarkable things all over the world, but there isn't a centralized place where you can learn from all of them. How I Travel will be that place.

Really love the site design!
