I've seen several of these pop up like Up for Instagram and many get shut down quickly for understandable reasons. I'm surprised IG hasn't built a tool for brands to better manage their feed.

@rrhoover So many of them use Android emulators to process the actions, bit concerning that agencies don't have a solid (and legit) tool for this, the uptake would be massive and Instagram could probably charge for it too.
@rrhoover Yeah, a friend of mine is building https://www.hopperhq.com, which I think looks a bit nicer than this. Also surprised that instagram hasn't sorted it...
@rrhoover I'm very surprised too. I manage multiple big Instagram accounts and basically use an Android phone that can be controlled on Mac OS, so it is way faster than typing and managing them on the phone.
Hope Instagram creates a tool for this, or at least let developers do it.
@_jamesmundy@rrhoover Hootsuite just reminds you. A notification that reminds you to post ≠ publishing. We don't notify you to post. You schedule your post, we post it.
They don’t display their pricing before you sign up (Boooo!)
They sent me a password in cleartext via email (Boooo!)
No was to deactivate or delete account (Boooo!)
@cenk Digital Ocean also does Number 2. About 1-3 you're absolutely right and I already contacted about them. They said that there will be a deactivate or delete account button very very soon. I guess they're just being lean.
@cenk tnx for feedback!
- Pricing link is placed in the footer.
- Yes, Grum password is cleartext yet. But IG password is always absolutely encrypted and protected.
- We released feature to delete account just today. It’s not so popular feature and we want to keep Grum as simple & reliable as rifle :)

I was just playing with it (the pictures are screenshots from my own profile 🙊). Got it from my Twitter feed and it seems to work! I'm wondering whether instagram will block it or not.
@kostgx We've set up our own solution, and it works just like a swiss clock and the secret sauce is — we don’t violate Instagram/Facebook Terms of Use (a clause saying that posts must be initiated by an Instagram user)
@dustinwstout Dustin, tnx for the kind words!
3 days trial? It seems 10 min is enough to identify high quality jacket :)

@igrumov@dustinwstout I understand what you’re trying to say, but a jacket doesn’t have to fit into my workflow, and I can’t very well do super intensive testing just because I only have three days for the trial. ;)

I was looking for something like this. I like the clean design.
@horsthuis Nick, I understand your concerns but as written above we've set up our own solution, and it works just like a swiss clock and the secret sauce is — we don’t violate Instagram/Facebook Terms of Use (a clause saying that posts must be initiated by an Instagram user)
@igrumov@horsthuis is it fair to say you have found a loophole in the Instagram/Facebook TOS that no one else has ? As mentioned above, there are several apps which attempt to `manage` your instagram posting scheduling but most fail. on a slightly different note, can you give a ballpark range of how many posts you have actually posted via your app so far?
@goelv I can’t say exactly… because we’re growing day by day. But on average, now we schedule & post some thousands photos per day (less on weekends, more on weekdays). So we use special server for digital agencies. And potentially we’ll be ready to scale server architecture to post hundreds of thousands photos per day, if required in the future
@anthonyadams what’s new:
1. VIDEO FEATURE
Grum catches up the features of Instagram so now you are able to post&schedule videos with the up-to-60 seconds duration in mp4 format.
Try it right now and make your Instagram account more attractive with videos!
2. FIRST COMMENT
Many people use the first comment on Instagram for their business improvement, especially via hashtags. Now you can post&schedule the first comment to your photo - it makes the caption of the photo look clearer and more suitable, just add the text or hashtags on the first comment field!
3. ONE POST FOR MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS
You are able to schedule your posts into several accounts the same time. It is really easy to do: choose the accounts you want after adding your photo and it will be posted on the accounts you’ve chosen!
4. BULK UPLOADING
The bulk function is available now too! The bulk allows you to put some photos into the planner and then post or schedule them via the accounts you've chosen without switching between them and posting every photo by itself.
