Google Whisk just leveled up!


was all about remixing visuals — you could drag in images for subject, scene, and style, and Whisk (powered by Gemini + Imagen 3) would generate a fresh image by capturing the essence, not an exact replica.


Now with Whisk 2.0, Google is taking it a step further. Whisk Animate, where your images come to life as vivid 8-second videos using the powerful Veo 2 model.

Can you use an image as a style reference or only create from scratch based on text?


 It can create a video based on the image (animates the image, basically)
