Which tech hubs do you think have improved recently? [countries/cities]
We always hear about Silicon Valley, San Francisco and others.
But lately it seems like there are more emerging...
I noticed people started talking more about Kazakhstan, Poland (the emerging European tiger), Stockholm... and wondered...
Where else has the level of tech hubs improved?

There are several in India that are often overlooked, Mexico City, Singapore
@davidoduk which in India? :) I mean cities
@busmark_w_nika I have a friend in Chennai who tells me it's a great tech hub.
India is growing fast as a tech hub with Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune leading the way
@shivam_kushwaha16 are you based on of those?
@busmark_w_nika Not just those, but Bengaluru and Hyderabad are definitely leading the way in India’s tech scene
Portugal with Lisbon, Porto, and not only 🔥
@ruxandra_mazilu Have been in Lisbon, loved the vibe! :)
Poland, definitely. You can feel it best in Warsaw. Open Luma on any given evening and there are often even two tech/AI meetups or startup events running at the same time. A few years ago you’d be lucky to find one a week.
Part of it comes from the economic and political situation, but let’s not get into politics here :)
@andriana_oprysko I have never been in Poland, so the place attracts me even more :D
Estonia was the one people talked about a while back. Skype, Wise, Bolt, Pipedrive, Veriff. And the government is fully digital. I once looked into getting Estonian e-Residency myself, since you can apply from abroad. I know people who live in Japan and run an Estonian company through it.
@hisashispace But isn't it administration-heavy? :D I mean... the fees you will pay for admin work, an accountant etc. it will not be that cheap. .D
